Claude and Webflow: five practical workflows for marketing teams

Start with a small, reviewable task: content inventory, draft preparation, metadata review, reporting, or a change brief.

Use Claude with Webflow for a defined task whose output someone can check. A content inventory or a draft metadata review is a better starting point than an open-ended instruction to improve the whole website.

Webflow's connector guidance describes access through its MCP server and says existing role permissions apply. The available actions and data still depend on the account and setup. The workflows below are proposed pilots, not a claim that Beqi has tested every step in your environment.

1. Inventory a content collection

Ask for item names, slugs, publication status, and missing fields from one Collection. Require the assistant to identify which Collection it read and whether the result is complete or paginated.

Check a sample against Webflow and reconcile the total. Keep this first task read-only. Its value is a reliable starting inventory, not an impressive summary of incomplete records.

2. Prepare draft items from approved material

Supply an approved source, the target Collection, required fields, and the expected category and author. Ask for a preview of the field values before writing. Make the intended draft status explicit.

Review the resulting CMS record for formatting, references, links, and accidental publication. AI should not invent the missing customer result or treat a blank field as permission to create a fact.

3. Review SEO metadata

Ask for missing, duplicated, or misleading titles and descriptions across a defined set of items. Have the assistant propose edits alongside the originals and explain which page intent each edit serves.

Check that the template actually uses those CMS fields. Filling out an SEO field does not help if every published page still outputs the same generic title. Verify the final page source after a controlled test.

4. Assemble a report from available data

Where the connected account exposes the required analytics, specify the date range, metric definitions, and comparison period. Ask the assistant to separate observed values from its interpretation and leave unavailable values blank.

Reconcile a sample with the original report. A change in traffic does not identify its cause. Read the MCP analytics overview before assuming a particular report is available.

5. Turn approved findings into a change brief

Provide a short set of confirmed issues and ask for affected pages, proposed edits, dependencies, and acceptance checks. Keep content changes separate from structural work so the reviewer can assess each.

A useful brief says what will change and how someone will verify it. “Improve AEO” is too vague to serve as a release instruction.

Decide what success means before the pilot

Record how long the task takes today, the corrections required, and who reviews the output. Run one small pilot, then compare the result with that baseline. Retain the prompt and checks only if they produce repeatable value.

Beqi's AI Enablement work can help define the workflow and its review points. Use the content review checklist before turning a draft into a published page.
