HubSpot CMS to Webflow: move your website and keep your CRM

Separate your website migration from your CRM, then test the complete journey from form submission to the right follow-up.

Moving a website from HubSpot CMS to Webflow does not require replacing HubSpot CRM. Treat the website and the customer-data workflow as separate systems, then define how they will connect after launch.

The important question is what happens after someone submits a form. A success message is only the first checkpoint. The correct data needs to reach the correct record, trigger the intended follow-up, and remain understandable to the team reviewing campaign performance.

Inventory the whole lead journey

For every form, record its page, fields, hidden values, required consent choices, contact-property mapping, owner assignment, and follow-up. Include downloads, meeting bookings, newsletter signups, and campaign pages outside the main navigation.

Ask marketing operations to identify workflow dependencies. A routing rule might depend on a field that visitors never see. An email sequence might use a particular submission event. These details are easy to lose when the review focuses on appearance.

Choose the connection around the requirement

Webflow documents HubSpot app, embed, and API approaches. An existing HubSpot form may be appropriate when its behavior should remain managed in HubSpot. Mapping a Webflow form can suit a different editing workflow. Custom logic may need a maintained server-side integration.

Confirm the capabilities available in the actual accounts before choosing. Compare required fields, validation, tracking, consent behavior, error handling, and who will maintain the connection. A connector name is not an acceptance test.

Test beyond a successful submission

Create a test matrix with a scenario, expected CRM result, actual result, reviewer, and evidence. At minimum, cover:

  • A new contact submitting the primary inquiry form.
  • An existing contact submitting updated information.
  • Different routing conditions, such as region or inquiry type.
  • Required fields, invalid input, and integration failure behavior.
  • The expected confirmation, internal notification, and follow-up.
  • Tracking and form behavior under the consent choices your site supports.

Use recognizable test records and agree how they will be excluded from business reporting. Keep screenshots or record identifiers so someone else can repeat the check.

Move the website content as its own workstream

Templates, articles, metadata, assets, and URL mapping still need a migration plan. Validate the CMS with representative records before importing the full library. Keep a list of late content changes so the new site does not launch with an older version of a live campaign.

For existing search demand, follow the migration SEO checklist. For delivery planning, use the milestone guide.

Name the owner after launch

Record who changes fields, who maintains credentials, and who investigates failed delivery. An integration can work at launch and fail later when someone renames a property or changes a form.

Beqi can scope the website move and integration work together. Bring a form inventory and your routing requirements so the proposal covers the journey your sales team actually depends on.
